aren't just names on another golf shirt. They're names that are woven into the very fabric of the golfwear industry.
Frank H. Page and Edward O. Tuttle were two bright young entrepreneurs who founded a Midwestern knitting company in 1886 that would forever change the way America dressed. From the "itchless" union suit worn by millions, to the antigravity space suit worn by the Gemini astronauts, their innovations were many, their successes great. But it was in the 1950's that their company introduced their most popular creation: the first knit golf shirt of its kind. No longer stymied by dress shirts and ties, players everywhere donned the new golf shirt - tour champions, amateurs and celebrities alike - and always in style, comfort and great pride.
Today, our golfwear bears the name Page & Tuttle® not just as symbols of this great heritage and inspiration, but as our pledge and commitment to you: to provide you with garments of comfort, quality and style, attuned to the times, imbued with tradition.
And to provide you with the kind of conscientious and energetic service for which Page & Tuttle themselves were justifiably renowned.
This is our product and our pledge. They're not new. In fact they're 117 years in the making
